POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support electrical, instrumentation, and process control systems within an industrial environment.
This hands-on role focuses on the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of critical plant equipment and control systems.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, controllers, transmitters, motors, and control panels.
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and terminations.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, DCS, SCADA, control systems, and instrumentation loops .
• Diagnose and repair Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and complex control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Calibrate and test instrumentation and process control equipment.
• Maintain maintenance, repair, testing, and calibration records.
• Read and update schematics, electrical diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Follow plant safety procedures, including LOTO, Confined Space Entry, and electrical safety requirements .
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• 3–5+ years of E&I Technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and process control instrumentation .
• Electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read technical procedures, schematics, and instructions.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to accuracy.
• Experience operating mechanical and diaphragm pumps.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Chemical plant experience.
• Industrial process controls and instrumentation.
• MCC troubleshooting and repair.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
