WBUR Podcasts reaches millions of listeners across the country and the world. Our premier always-on shows and prestige limited series deliver award-winning, educational, innovative, bold storytelling aimed at creating new generations of public media consumers. Our journalism is accurate, in-depth, and beyond influence. We feature diverse, authentic voices on subjects that matter to them, in a style that speaks to them. Our work fascinates listeners, encourages them to engage one another, and helps them understand the world they've inherited. As a Senior Producer on the WBUR Podcasts team, you will help to lead our department's creative work, from producing and voicing our show Endless Thread, to developing, piloting, and launching new shows and limited series for the station. You will work with a collaborative, generous, hard-working team of talented producers and sound designers, and also lend your production skills and your keen ear to our group-driven process of creating innovative and arresting audio on deadline. You will research fascinating topics, pitch episodes and limited series, book guests, deliver tracking on mic and on video, write sticky, catchy episode titles and punchy scripts. You will help WBUR create work that is hand-made even as you hone new ways to use AI tools to sharpen the craft. You will be at the center of WBUR's mission of fostering understanding, connection and community for an expanding circle of people.
